This is a succulent that blooms during the winter. It has fleshy dark reddish black leaves that are arranged in rosettes and resemble flowers. The flowers are a beautiful shade of yellow which contrasts beautifully against the red/black leaves.

Best Uses: Good for succulent gardens and widely used in pots. Makes a great accent plant
Recommended Placement: Grows well in the Southern California climate
Optimal Soil: Prefers sandy loam but will tolerate most soil conditions
