This plant is native to Mexico and has sword shaped blue leaves. The plant can reach a height of up to 6 feet. The leaves are arranged in a rosette formation and are waxy.
Form: Shrub
Best Uses: Ornamental. In some areas of Mexico it is grown as it is the base ingredient in tequila.
Recommended Placement: Needs full sun to thrive and the leaves will burn in frosty weather if not protected
Optimal Soil: It can grow well in any kind of soil but prefers it to be well draining
