Very drought tolerant. Is also very cold hardy.
A cold hardy palm from the Mediterranean. It has green/blue green fan shaped fronds on long petioles which extend from the top of thick brown stems. Sometimes the stems twist and form interesting sculptural shapes. Usually grows in a clump.
Optimal Soil:
It can grow in poor and rocky soil, but will grow faster if given fertilizer and adequate water.
