They are good in full sun or in part shade.
These plants with banana shaped leaves grow up to a height of 30 ft. The 6 - 10 foot long leaves are arranged like a fan on top of the stem. The flower is dark blue, (almost black) with white crests. The plant grows fast but can be cut back easily.
