Evergreen Low Maintenance Low Water Requirements Palm-like Specimen Succulents Sun Loving
Native to Mexico, the most notable feature of this plant is the swollen base which holds water, making this a very drought tolerant plant. Although palm like in appearance, they are not related to palms. The end of each branch holds a tuft of grass like leaves. Needs very little maintenance or attention.
Form:
Multi trunk, Single trunk
Best Uses: Perfect for a succulent garden, xeriscaping, or will look equally good with palms.
Recommended Placement: In full sun. In colder climates this can be grown as in indoor plant.
Optimal Soil: Sandy loam. Not fussy.
